Wen Mobai is a refined civil official at court. One day, a prince suddenly sends him a shadow guard.

Wen Mobai sneers: "Hmph, you think I don't know you've sent him to spy on me?"

He wants no part in the struggle for the throne, so he intends to ignore the shadow guard. But the guard seems to regard him as his true master. He protects him with his own body and serves him wholeheartedly, accepting every punishment without complaint.

Looking at the little shadow guard's trusting, devoted eyes, Wen Mobai feels his own heart, hardened by years in officialdom, slowly warming without his even realizing it...

Later, Wen Mobai retires from office and lives in seclusion. He sits in the fields, holding his loyal little puppy close as they watch the stars.

The little shadow guard is overcome with guilt: "This subordinate made you give up your high office and generous salary..."

Wen Mobai pinches the tip of his reddened ear: "You've already sold yourself to me. Be a good boy and serve me tonight."

The little shadow guard pulls out a rather explicit booklet and opens it: "Master, which position would you like tonight?"

The story is led by the gong. Gentle gong x loyal shadow guard shou. A story about bringing someone else's loyal puppy home and healing him.

Reading Guide:

1. A sweet romance with no angst over the relationship, and a ridiculous, melodramatic plot.

My Moonlight Lost His Memory and Became My Shadow Guard

Hong Que is the first shadow guard to escape the control of Muyun Manor. In just a few years, he builds the most authoritative intelligence network in the martial world. But when he can finally live freely, he realizes that he still can't let go of the shadow guard captain who once helped him escape.

When he first joined the shadow guard camp, he was small and weak, and refused to follow orders. Faced with despairing punishments, he would secretly trail behind the captain, seeking protection.

But when Hong Que finally grows strong enough to topple the manor with his own forces, he discovers that the moonlight he's longed for doesn't recognize him. The man stares blankly at the token Hong Que just seized and calls him Master.

Seeing his beloved moonlight kneel before him, his body covered in scars from torture, Hong Que posts a plea for help to the entire martial world through his intelligence network:

"My long-lost moonlight only recognizes me as his master. What do I do? Please respond ASAP!"

Of course, this moonlight, who's suffered so much in body and mind, must be cherished. The shadow guards who once shared life and death with him must be treated well, too.

So the shadow guards, gradually spoiled by their master, quietly enjoy watching their master and the former captain. Some watch, others play matchmaker...

Later, just as Hong Que has accepted that his moonlight has lost his memory and is trying to figure out how to confess his feelings, the other man suddenly feeds him a piece of honey and milk pastry mouth-to-mouth.

Hong Que is stunned: "Y-you... What are you doing?!"

The other man blinks: "You used to love these when you were little..."

Hong Que: "...??!!!"

A gentle but domineering younger gong x an amnesiac, loyal shadow guard shou. Two strong leads who dote on each other.

A sweet story about two people who are each other's moonlight, reuniting and healing one another's wounded hearts~

Theme: A sweet romance about two people healing one another in a cold world.
