Senior Brother Resigns

Xie Jiuchen is the senior disciple, so when his junior sister gets into trouble, he has to step up and be ready at all times.

Xie Jiuchen is the senior disciple, so when his fiancee comes to break off their engagement, he has to suffer humiliation and hold a grudge.

Xie Jiuchen is the senior disciple, so when his close friend tries to kill him, he has to grow bitter about the world and fall into adversity.

The senior disciple is a brick: wherever he's needed, that's where he goes.

And the most ridiculous part is that you have no idea whether you're the protagonist, the villain, or just cannon fodder.

Xie Jiuchen gave up. Heaven knows all he wanted was to follow his master's orders and make the sect flourish!

So his junior sister, fiancee, and close friend all noticed that Xie Jiuchen had changed.

Junior sister: "What happened to you being my backup option?"

Fiancee: "What happened to your comeback?"

Close friend: "What happened to you turning demonic?"

Xie Jiuchen: "I'm done with this! All of you, go wherever you came from! Stop getting in the way of me becoming sect leader!"

※ The male lead is a sickly sect leader. He may not make a move often, but when he does, he gets beaten up too.

※ No CP. Cultivation and power-ups, taking disciples, humiliating scum, and developing the sect.

※ This should be a plot-driven power fantasy with a dead-serious premise and a goofy vibe...?

Theme: Take control of your own fate. Don't be a character in someone else's story
