Ji Yunmiao

Ji Yunmiao, an utterly ordinary high school boy, never expected to get the one-in-a-billion protagonist treatment one day: being bound to a System.

The System, which called itself "Honor of Kings," almost made him think it was some high-tech tie-in for a video game.

Honor of Kings: "I am the King System, and I will lead my Host on the path to becoming the strongest King!"

Ji Yunmiao: "...Oh."

Honor of Kings: "I possess countless insights from throughout history about film, literature, music, calligraphy, painting... Whatever you want, I can provide it all, as long as you're willing."

Ji Yunmiao: "Mm."

Honor of Kings: "Why aren't you excited? Come on, join me in conquering the stars and the sea!"

Ji Yunmiao: "Mm. No rush. Let me memorize Li Sao first. I have an exam coming up."

Back in his edgy teenage years, a classmate asked Ji Yunmiao what he'd most want to do if he ever got a golden finger.

His answer then was to keep setting his alarm clock one minute ahead forever. For a middle school student who had to get up early and stay up late, sleep was so precious that even knowing he was dreaming, he wouldn't want to wake up.

Now his dream had become reality. He really did have a golden finger.

If anyone asked him the same question now, Ji Yunmiao would answer, "Then I'd take in the view from the top of the clouds."

#I stand atop the clouds, gazing out at the distant world below#

※ Male protagonist pairing. Plot-driven, level-up power fantasy, mainly about the entertainment industry. Slow-burn, extremely slow-burn. Unless something unexpected happens, this will be a long novel, a very long one.

※ There is one official love interest, the bottom. Romance is not a major focus, but it matters. The goal is to make the romance beautiful and poetic. The top and bottom are kindred spirits and soulmates.

Theme: Keeping your feet on the ground is the only way to succeed.
