Captain, Let's Walk the Road to Stardom Together Again

Chen Xi used to be the leader of the boy band BRAVE. But after the group disbanded, scandals followed him everywhere, his career fizzled out, and he disappeared from the public eye.

Two years later, as an older former idol trying to make a comeback, Chen Xi joins the latest audition show, hoping to return to the stage.

One of the mentors on the show is his former teammate, Gu Wang, now a top-tier star.

With his buzz and fanbase, Chen Xi is being trashed all over the internet even before the show begins, with people making all sorts of snide remarks.

Then the show airs, and the haters say: This guy is seriously talented. We take it all back.

Later, someone happens to reveal that Gu Wang smiled as he straightened Chen Xi's crooked hat at the airport, his lips seeming to brush lightly against Chen Xi's earlobe.

The shippers go wild: I hope it's real!!!

Outsiders think that after BRAVE disbanded, Gu Wang and Chen Xi couldn't stand each other and never even appeared together. But few know that Gu Wang has always idolized Chen Xi, his captain.

Steady, powerful, emotionally oblivious former captain on the bottom vs. proactive puppy-like mentor on the top

“Now that you're back, don't disappear again, okay?”

“Captain, let's walk the road to stardom together again this time.”

Title to be decided.

Theme: An audition show.
