I Am a Stone

A story inspired by the idea that jade can take disasters meant for people. Not entirely tragic... I honestly don't know what genre to put it in. The protagonist is a stone. Any similarities are purely coincidental. A very short story, not exactly lighthearted and happy (somehow it ends in a semi-happy ending). Told in first person, so read with caution if that's not your thing.
