Playing the Villain [Reborn]

Gu Yao, the well-behaved and considerate young master, was kicked out of the Gu family.

At last, he learned that he was a fake. For over a decade, the care he'd received had been because of his blood ties to the Gu family, not because of who he was.

At twenty-four, after enduring the darkest and most difficult period of his life, Gu Yao suddenly died alone and returned to the summer when he was sixteen.

Back then, Gu Yao was still the cherished young master, the darling of heaven.

To hell with being the darling of heaven!

After being reborn, Gu Yao knew that being well-behaved and considerate and trying to please others were useless. He flung the paternity test in the Gu family's faces and went from obedient to unruly.

Smoking, drinking, picking fights, getting tattoos: he would live as freely and brazenly as he pleased. He was going to be the baddest kid on the block!

Gu Yao discovered that his new roommate was strange. He helped him fetch water and buy food, wore glasses, and acted like a refined, kindhearted pushover.

He was just like Gu Yao used to be. Gu Yao didn't like him.

Then one night, Gu Yao was woken by his roommate sneaking back into the dorm, looking dusty and disheveled.

Unable to hold back, Gu Yao asked, "What did you go out for?"

His roommate replied, "To buy a copy of Wusan."

As soon as he said it, a dagger fell from his pocket.

His roommate thought for a moment, then explained, "Oh, to haggle."

After turning over a new leaf, former school bully Xu Qing met a strange roommate. He was always fiddling with things during class, wearing temporary tattoos, and keeping cigarettes and alcohol in his drawer. He looked like a real tough guy.

Then one day, Xu Qing happened to pass an alley near the school and saw his little roommate putting on a carefree act as he beckoned to a group of gangsters.

"I'll give you money, but when you leave, tell everyone I won the fight."

A cute, top-student shou pretending to be bad VS a big-shot school-bully gong pretending to be good. A super-sweet one-on-one romance.
