A story that follows them from campus to the working world.

What if you were in the same class as your idol? What if you became a member of their publicity team? What if you'd known your idol as a child? Could you break out of the fan role and reach a different ending?

Jian Dan: Wang Junkai, guess who I am. Your assistant, the artist hired by your company, or your classmate sitting across the aisle?

Jian Shuang: Yi Yangqianxi? He's my deskmate, my bro.

Xiang Lexin: Wang Yuan, does a promise made as kids stop counting when we grow up?

Youth is watching helplessly as someone runs farther and farther ahead, never once entering your world. The most ridiculous part is that their shadow spreads across the sky, falling like rain and appearing everywhere.

Youth, growing up, chasing dreams, and first love.

Content warnings:

1. The author wrote this story in seventh grade. It's full of youthful awkwardness and isn't meant to stand up to close scrutiny. It seemed a shame to leave it gathering dust, so it was posted. Back then, every word was written by hand in the dark, straining the eyes, and poured straight from the heart.

2. I'm not a longtime fan.
