The Pharaoh's Beloved Concubine

Legend has it that Nefertari was a dancer from a foreign land who came to Egypt.

With a single dance, she captured the heart of the great Pharaoh.

Nefertari's hair, as golden as the sun, was admired throughout all of Egypt.

Ramesses II once stroked her golden hair and said, "The sun shines because of you."

Nile, my mother, I drank with her from these waters of life. We promised to meet again and never forget our past lives. We shall be together forever, never to part...

My friend and I were debating whether to start this story, since we couldn't accept Ramesses II having a whole harem. Then my friend pointed out that even the Moon Cell's King Arthur is a woman, so surely Ramesses II could pick one from among three thousand beauties. I thought that made a lot of sense, so here I am, starting another story.
