Before he became a member of the Demon Slayer Corps, Kyojuro Rengoku used to imagine what his life would be like when he grew up.
He and his fiancée, Shinritsu Mari, would become Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. After killing Muzan, they would hold a Shinto wedding in Mari's hometown. Perhaps they would have two children, then run a dojo and live happily ever after.
But now, that dream has shattered.
