Thomas stood before the old, weathered gate.
At this ordinary orphanage was his child, a baby who had only recently been born, the future Dark Lord.

1. A short story. Thomas and Cecilia are both reborn. Before being reborn, they had already lived through three lifetimes: in Britain, the Soviet Union, and China.
2. They immigrate to the United States, and little Tom attends Ilvermorny.
3. Their future plans: Thomas goes into business, Cecilia enters politics, and little Tom becomes a revolutionary (Minister for Magic → president → chairman).
