Blurb Two
Ethiopia--
Sheila leans against the door, an old copy of The Thorn Birds clutched in her hand.
Bright moonlight gently caresses her cheek, brushing away her weariness. Her warm, resolute gaze passes through the low houses, taking in the desolate, silent desert and its suffering, wailing inhabitants.
"Merciful God, who has compassion for all creation, please grant my wish! How desperately our world longs to escape this suffering. I cannot believe that the most beautiful things can only be won through terrible pain--" She lifts her head, as if she can see the supreme deity beyond the heavens, the source of the ghost's rage. "Must we smile only when we are at death's door, beneath those savage branches and their sharpest thorns?"
Perhaps so.
The numbers on the bomb keep counting down.
Sheila gazes gently at her son. "Jason, I'm proud of you."
Jason looks at the sealed-off warehouse and says hopefully, "Mom, Batman will get here in time."
Sheila answers with certainty, "He will."
She wants to give Jason hope.
But in truth, she already knows how this will end.
Did I come here from the real world only for this outcome?
Why were my memories taken from me?
Why make him come back after he had already left?
Why did all these terrible things have to happen?
Why toy with me?
Reader's Guide
1. Attuned to the Divine means communicating with gods and immortals.
2. Updates are irregular and slow, but I'll do my best to keep writing.
3. My writing has its shortcomings. The early chapters contain a relatively large amount of original plot and characters, so please bear with me.
4. This is not a life-simulation story. I just thought this format would be fun when rewriting the blurb.
5. There are many personal interpretations. Jason will be born on January 1, 1998, rather than his original birthday, and is planned to make his official appearance in Chapter One of Volume Two.
6. Sheila has no romantic pairing. After breaking up with Willis, she will have no further romantic plotline, though they will keep in touch. The other characters' romantic plotlines will depend on how things go; I'll decide as I write.
7. There will be adopted daughters: two girls, one with superpowers and one without, adopted when Jason is three and five, respectively.
8. Happy ending.
Theme: Love and choice
His father called him the little prince, and his father was happy for his birth! Cover your mouth and burst into tears. Jpg.
The first time I saw it was from the first-person perspective of Jason's biological mother!! Squatting update, come on, madam~
It's Lexi who hasn't gone crazy from seeing a Kryptonian yet—laughing to death, America's hope!
I have to say, they may say, Gotham! Very bad! Terrible!
What are the Canton sisters revealing? The truth about Owl and the Wayne family?
It's a really cool article, so I couldn't resist it.
Run and you will be free! You will realize your dreams. You are a free and unrestrained eagle. You will return to the earth covered with golden light and bring light to it!
Willis Todd is really doing well at this time, and so is Sheila!
The extra episode feels so heartwarming, and I hope they can continue to live happily like this. My wife wrote wonderfully!
