Completed on February 17; the story will be locked from the beginning. Thanks for your support~
The story begins with Xu Tonglan buying a boyfriend online from Taobao, a guy who claimed to be the campus heartthrob.
After seventeen years of studying and living by the rules, Xu Tonglan rebelled when his mother dismissed his ideals as useless nonsense that couldn't make money. He took an unconventional route, asking his counterfeit boyfriend to help him pretend to be gay. He planned to change his image and carry his rebellion through to the end.
After meeting in person and going over the script, Xu Tonglan imagined his fake coming-out declaration would go like this:
Xu's mother: "Take this money and leave my son."
Fake boyfriend: "You think I care about money? What I care about is love! Someone like you, who only cares about money, could never understand."
But what actually happened was:
Xu's mother: "Take this money and live well."
The fake boyfriend, who really did only care about money: "Sure thing, Auntie. No problem." Then he shut down his Taobao shop, blocked Xu Tonglan, and ran off with the money, all in one neat package.
At the start of the school year, Xu Tonglan clutched the breakup note his fake boyfriend had left behind and gave his new deskmate a knowing smile. "Want to pay off your debt? Fine. Keep being my boyfriend."
Lin Shi'an: "Why me?"
"You get back up where you fell," Xu Tonglan said with a smile. "That's how I've consistently ranked first in the year."
A few tips:
1. The protagonist is very, very short on money, and under the seme's attentive guidance (?), he'll come to deeply understand and reflect on his mistakes.
2. A dating-contract story set in high school, with bickering frenemies who love to trade barbs.
3. Both are pure, 1v1, and both think they're straight men.
4. Updates at 9 p.m.~ The author is reliable about finishing stories, so come on in!
5. A heads-up: there is a side couple with very little page time, and they're somewhat controversial.

The Doctor Jiang Is Pregnant with His Nemesis's Baby:
Everyone knows that the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Jihua Hospital, affiliated with A Medical University, has two associate chief physicians who never see eye to eye.
From their freshman year all the way through their PhDs and residency training to their professional title evaluations, Jiang Xu and Shen Fangyu competed like they were trying to kill each other, battling day and night. It was a classic case of "If you don't work me to death, I'll work you to death." If you got a 96, I'd get a 97.
By the end, they even fell for the same woman.
Who could have guessed that before the two of them could settle their rivalry, their crush would stroll out of the closet right in front of them, smiling, hand in hand with her girlfriend?
The two straight men, who'd spent three months at each other's throats for nothing, watched their worldviews shatter. United against a common enemy, they drowned their sorrows in drink and somehow ended up in bed together.
Afterward, Jiang Xu climbed up, his back nearly broken. His mind fell apart for half a minute before he resolutely decided to forget it ever happened.
Then, three months later, he held his vanished abs and stared at his urine test results, looking at his reflection in the mirror in disbelief.
"Ugh..."
*
The first time he came clean--
Shen Fangyu felt Jiang Xu's forehead. "You don't have a fever. Is it April Fools' Day?"
Then his face swelled up for seven days.
The first time they calculated the due date--
Shen Fangyu couldn't help laughing. "Well, I'll be. The baby's actually due on April Fools' Day."
Jiang Xu gave him a cool look. "That can only mean that our meeting was a joke."
On April Fools' Day--
The heavy smell of alcohol swept over them. Jiang Xu spoke irritably. "Can you handle this?"
Dr. Shen was as shameless as ever. "Don't worry. After years in this profession, I can promise you that if you don't make it off the operating table alive, I'll pay for your grave."
Jiang Xu turned his head away. "Who the hell is scared--"
The oxygen mask was fitted over Jiang Xu's face, cutting off his words.
"I can't kiss you right now, but I'll stay with you the whole time."
The sharp scalpel cut layer after layer into his beloved's body. When he looked up again, all that remained in the usually carefree Dr. Shen's eyes was his love, laid bare.
"This child may be born on April Fools' Day, but believe me, I'm not here to make a joke of this."
"Dr. Jiang," Shen Fangyu said. "I love you."

White Jade Capital
In short, it's a love story about two big shots scheming against each other until they finally scheme their way into falling in love.
There's a saying in the martial world that among the divine treasures produced by the Heavenly Court, wish-granting artifacts have the worst quality control.
One person wished for ten thousand taels of gold, only to draw a legendary immortal pill.
Another wished for fame and success, only to accidentally ascend to immortality.
Of course, the unluckiest of all was the Third Prince of White Jade Capital. He held the most precious wish-granting artifact in the heavenly realm, but accidentally drew a great monster sealed away for a thousand years.
The monster had red lips and pearly white teeth. He was a beautiful, poisonous creature who smiled as he asked the most brilliant young man in White Jade Capital to wager on love.
The Third Prince was young then.
He did not yet know that even an immortal of boundless ability, once entangled in love,
could only escape it through death and the destruction of their soul.
"I had a very, very long dream."
"In the dream, heaven and earth collapsed, flames lit up the sky, and above me surged an endless red tide. The emerald vines withered to ash in an instant, and a monstrous serpent was cut in half. Its scarlet tongue fell at my feet, setting the clanking chains rattling."
"And in the cold light, I saw a woman's face, spattered with blood."
I thought I'd arrived in the endless underworld, but my master told me that place was called White Jade Capital.
The only jade city in the world that reached the heavens, a place where only immortals could live.
The home of my dreams.
[Reading Guide]
1. A serious xianxia story, told in third person.
2. Moon-bright, breeze-gentle gentleman uke x wicked, beautiful, unruly seme. It's a tale of immortals battling it out, with a man as inscrutable as the depths of the sea.
3. The title comes from Li Bai's lines: "In heaven stands White Jade Capital, with twelve towers and five cities. An immortal lays a hand upon my head, then grants me long life through my wedding hair."
Theme: A penniless young man realizes his ideals and finds true affection in the world through his own efforts and aspirations.
Hey, I'm sorry, I know it's a bit bad for other people's mood, but I really had a heart attack after reading this book late at night... Suddenly it took a sudden turn for the worse and then suddenly it made me happy. What about Li Dan? Why was she arrested? What happened between her and Tong Lan's father, and what happens now? Is it solved? Can you accept Tong Lan coming out? Tong Lan has no money, what will she do next? I am studying biology but my family has no confidence. Should I just rely on Shi An to make money? Can he successfully study all the way and eventually become a rising star in the scientific research world? Shi'an's career has been advancing rapidly without any setbacks? Can his body hold up? How were the two of them doing in the college entrance examination? Why do you suddenly have money to buy a house? One is in the entertainment industry and the other is studying in the tiankeng. Can they really sit back and relax? ... It was well written before, so this hasty ending seems to be a bit of a whitewash. It seems to be in danger, and it seems to be broken at the touch of a finger. It seems that there is no way to live such an ideal life in the end. This is just how a "he ending" should be, so that's it.
I feel that this article should actually carry the author's expectations and tribute to the original campus article in my mind. It may be immature and has mixed elements. There is a feeling of adding too much salt and seasonings, and then frying and salting it. The ending is not very round, but I think it is understandable, such as the teacher-student love in it, and the friction between brothers who have been together for nearly ten years, and separated because one of them is afraid of the eyes of their family. I think this is the most realistic among them, in a beautiful campus article that I look forward to. It is difficult to match something with such a strong sense of reality. When the author was thinking about it, the writing was a bit too heavy, because the plot is too compact. Compared with the leisurely campus time in the front, it is obvious that the first half has a comfortable pace and the second half is awkward. The content before the entertainment industry part of this article is quite interesting, but there is a bit of improper connection when Shou participates in the singing competition. Finally, I would like to give you a suggestion. The content before the entertainment industry part is worth reading, and the content after that is Just so so, let's make our own choices.
I always feel that Xu Tonglan shouldn't have such a hasty ending. I think his ending should be better. He should be a high-spirited person in the xx industry. He should be a young man who has a bit of a dog feeling. But as he goes on, this feeling becomes weaker and weaker. He seems to be slowly withering and blocking the light. Even in the first few chapters That feeling has disappeared. It's really getting more and more uncomfortable. I don't know why. I feel that Xu Tonglan is really not as sunny as before. It's really, indescribably uncomfortable. If I have the chance, I hope I can write more extras and give him a better ending. It's really uncomfortable.
Lin Zhen is soaring all the way up, and it can be seen that the author wants to portray him as worthy of this, and he is indeed worthy. But perhaps the contrast with the opening chapter is too great. At the end of the article, one of Xu Tianzhi's proud sons, his mother was imprisoned, and he studied tiankeng biology at Tsinghua University, although he loved it very much. Maybe the main plot is on Lin's side, but I like Xu very much. Not only does he love someone, but his righteousness makes him want to report Gong Taishan (probably) just because of the first few pictures. He is touching when he meditates in the wind. He has the arrogance and self-confidence of a young man, determined that he will always be the first. He can also cope with the strict requirements of his stern mother. Wearing a red sportswear, he is the number one in the fierce competition and a well-rounded academic god. At the end of the novel, the comparison between Xu and Lin's star aura was really rushed. His love for his lover was a part of him, but it was too strong, perhaps unbalanced. In fact, I would rather see Xu become the leader of the National Academy of Sciences many years later, and if anyone checks his information, he will be under special national protection and cannot be found. Xu Tonglan deserves to be absolutely matched. He can excel in any road. His own life can also be legendary. Respect the people and things he loves.
I really feel that the ending is too hasty and unrealistic at the same time. To be honest, it is not as good as the whole process.
The ending was a bit rushed and it felt like it ended suddenly without even finishing the story. I still felt uncomfortable after watching it last night and thinking about it all night.
I'm very moved (?_?), I like this article very much, but the plot pace in the ending is so fast, maybe it's because my wife doesn't know the relevant knowledgeww
Although I have passed high school, it has also given me some inspiration for my current life. No matter what the result is in this life, you have to work hard once. So I hope that I can pass the postgraduate entrance examination in 2023. I will kill you! In addition, I think the ending of the main text is a bit rushed. There is something obviously wrong with the protagonist. For example, he does not call during illness. It is obvious that the direct relationship is alienated. Or they start to become like people from two different worlds. But it ends suddenly, which is a bit confusing.
I read this article again. Young people have never seriously considered how far eternity is. He could only bring me pancakes and fruits for one semester. If he didn't treat me, I would eat noodles for a lifetime. There are so many surprises in the world. In college, I accidentally discovered that the illustrator I liked turned out to be an alumnus of my school. I never met the person I liked again.
Good guys, it turns out that you have been using your hands before!! Finished spreading flowers!
