Take It Slow

Walk slowly, my beloved moon, walk slowly. - The Kite Runner, an Afghan folk song

[A quick content warning]

This was written four years ago as the author's first work. It was left unfinished at the time, but the author couldn't stand having an abandoned plotline, so it's now been heavily revised and completed. Some of the pacing and plot points just couldn't be fixed, though, so it still has plenty of flaws. Please don't read if that bothers you.

Premise: Unite, be kind to one another, face hardships bravely, and build a better future.
