Has My Junior Uncle Gone Mad Again Today?

Blurb: On the first day Zhao Yanran returned to her sect with her master, she met Pei Jue halfway up the Stairway to Immortality. The young man wore white, his beauty beyond compare, his manner carefree and elegant. His smiling peach-blossom eyes were fixed on her. Only then did Zhao Yanran realize that he was her junior granduncle, as well as a supporting male character in The Demon Lord's Wife. The elegant and peerless Fenghua Jun, a man of remarkable talent and grace. - Beneath a peach tree in full bloom, the young man in white lay atop a boulder, letting the wind scatter petals all over him. After a moment, he looked up at the girl in the tree. His eyes burned with affection, but he soon lowered them and called out with a smile: "Little Yanran." Zhao Yanran looked down from the tree, feeling helpless about this infuriating junior granduncle who was a little different from the one in the book. "What?" Her junior granduncle's eyes curved with a smile, his beauty and grace unmatched in the world. "I missed you." He missed her constantly, and terribly. He missed her even more in his dreams. She made his heart ache and his liver ache too; no wonder she was the apple of his eye. - Later, as the story's events shifted, Zhao Yanran and Pei Jue supported each other every step of the way. When Pei Jue was afflicted by the heart-demon curse, he didn't go mad like he did in the book, nor did he slaughter everyone around him. He simply locked Zhao Yanran tightly in his arms, his fingertips trembling. He turned and kissed the person in his arms by the ear. His eyes lowered, their corners red, and he whispered, "Little Yanran, don't leave me. Otherwise, I'll use an immortal-binding rope to tie you to my waist." Suddenly, he chuckled, a brooding sadness in his voice. "You can try to run..." His voice was gentle. "If you do, I'll show you just how 'formidable' I can be." Theme: Falling in love
