[Bungo Stray Dogs] What's It Like to Be the Same Height as Your Boss?

Part One completed on June 8, 2020. Part Two begins June 17.

Next up:

1. "What It's Like to Be a Double Agent in Everyone's Organization," continuing this story;

2. "A Rich Woman's Woes," an RPG-style, feel-good, sweet story starring Dazai.

Recommending my friend's upcoming stories by Du Tao: "[Crossover] Bandage Inhibitor" and "[Crossover] I'm Not Skadi."

What's it like being the same height as your boss?

Sato Shimo: Thanks for asking. I'm at the Port Mafia, and I just finished hauling bricks. Being the same height as my boss means that anyone who makes fun of my height offends both of us. Several of my coworkers have already been sunk into Yokohama Bay in the middle of the night (crossed out).

The serious (?) blurb:

My name is Sato Shimo, and I'm a potted plant who has transmigrated twice.

In ancient times, Hua Mulan took her father's place in the army. Today, I'm taking my younger brother's place at work. That's how I ended up at Yokohama Port Freight Company, where I became a diligent little brick-hauler with a secret crush on my boss.

About the strange rumors going around about me, I have to clear a few things up:

I am absolutely not a member of the Decay of the Angel. I'm just a weak, innocent potted plant.

I've been off the milk flower for years. I don't cure diseases or save lives. If you're dying, I recommend drinking more hot water.

I'm also absolutely not a top hacker. I've just learned a little about computer repair.

As for the military police, detectives, information brokers, and Italian mafia, I don't know any of them. We're all just silly internet friends.

Lastly, don't believe or spread rumors. Live happily and love your work.

PS:

1. First person, with Chuuya as the love interest.

2. No second male lead in the romance. The whole world helps the heroine pursue Chuuya.

3. As everyone knows, the sweet blossoms from Sassy Valley are all dark-hearted once you cut them open.

4. Includes scenes of silly internet friends chatting. Join the discussion!
