Little Immortal Lord (Reborn)

Blurb:

The Immortal Realm had a newly appointed War Immortal, Wu Qing.

He was clever and lively, sweet-tongued and adorable, with great people skills and talent.

He had connections, friends, a mount, weapons, and status.

Everyone in the Immortal Realm trusted and adored him.

He was hailed as the one and only Little Immortal Lord between heaven and earth.

The Little Immortal Lord and Dong Ping, a rising star in the Immortal Realm and Immortal Lord of Justice, were close.

They ate and lived together, and traveled between heaven and earth, rarely apart.

They were even said to have infiltrated the Demon Realm together, fought side by side, and slain the great demon threatening the Three Realms.

But later, someone witnessed it with their own eyes.

To build up his credentials and ascend to Divine Lord, Dong Ping accused Wu Qing of colluding with the Demon Realm. Disregarding their past friendship, he severed Wu Qing's immortal bones.

Then he cast him into the cycle of reincarnation.

Not long afterward, Dong Ping ascended to become the Divine Lord of Justice, enjoying boundless glory and prestige.

Meanwhile, the Little Immortal Lord Wu Qing disappeared without a trace and was never seen again.

Many years later.

A young disciple appeared at Mount Tangling.

He had an unusual constitution and exceptional talent.

Unfortunately, whenever he practiced cultivation, his powers backfired, and he coughed up blood nonstop.

All he did each day was run around causing trouble and mischief.

His masters found him a real handful.

With no other choice, they handed him over to his senior uncle, known as the Divine Lord of Justice, who took him to the Immortal Realm for training.

No one saw how, upon meeting the young disciple for the first time, the usually composed Divine Lord of Justice trembled so badly that he dropped and shattered his teacup.

Notes:

1. The story is told in chronological order, starting before he was reborn.

2. The protagonist is the pursuer.

3. Dong Ping is the pursued, and he never gets the upper hand in either lifetime.
