Don't Pick Up the Good-for-Nothing Cultivator by the Roadside

[Blurb]

Su Ming, the new young lord of Ghost Valley, has been having a rough time lately.

Ever since the former Ghost King passed away, two elders seized the territory and declared themselves kings, paying him no mind at all.

On top of that, the hundred-year agreement of "peaceful coexistence" with the cultivation world is about to expire. When it does, Ghost Valley and the cultivation world may well face a brutal war.

To unite Ghost Valley and prevent a war, Su Ming begins recruiting troops and gathering allies.

One day, in a moment of impulse, he picked up a cultivation-world good-for-nothing with not a trace of power by the roadside...

Much later, a rumor spread through both the cultivation world and Ghost Valley:

Oh no! They say a cultivation big shot and the Ghost King are lovers, and have been struck from the Three Realms and sent to the mortal world to undergo tribulation...

Cultivation big shot He Xiaoxue: ? I was clearly traveling through the Three Realms, helping the helpless wherever I went. Who's spreading this nonsense?

Ghost King Su Ming: Hehe, now no one will bother us.
