A Vongola-Style Diary of Raising Youngsters

[A plug for my other novel, "The Years I Spent as Britain’s Overlord". It’s already out! Don’t miss it if you happen to pass by!] * Everyone knows that Varia has two tyrants. One is Xanxus, son of the Ninth Vongola, Timoteo. He is the current Varia leader and the widely accepted candidate for the Tenth Vongola. He had already gathered countless followers as a teenager. The other is Tsunayoshi, son of the Outside Advisor, Iemitsu. After his father was attacked and fell into a coma, he was placed under Xanxus’s care. Though still young, he has made friends far and wide, making him a figure to be reckoned with. They say one mountain cannot hold two tigers. Everyone is watching, waiting for these two tigers to tear into each other so they can reap the benefits. But as they wait, the younger one becomes the Tenth Vongola. The watching mafiosi: ??? What happened???! As the story goes, when the fated moment arrives, Vongola’s mad dog drags a thoroughly unwilling Tsunayoshi to the throne. In a harsh voice, he tells him to bow his head, places the symbol of the Godfather on his finger, and bends down to kiss the boy’s thumb. [All glory to Vongola] * Tsunayoshi Vongola, the new First Vongola, has a secret: he can see bullet comments from the future. The comments help him through one hardship after another, and accompany him through long, dark nights. They are as close to him as family. With their company, Tsunayoshi, who has lost his father (not), gains a new family. His only daily worry, perhaps, is that his family from another world and his family in this world seem to have a conflict he knows nothing about. [Ahhh, that guy over there! Yes, you, the big rat from Siberia! Don’t teach our little one bad habits, okay?] [And the scarred guy over here... Don’t make our little one think scars are a symbol of bravery, and don’t leave him behind at a gang fight so carelessly!] [Ugh, can these guys really take care of a kid? If not, let us do it, ] And so Tsunayoshi spends every day sweetly fretting over the conflicts between his families. [Don’t frown, little one. How about a smile?] A comment filled with concern drifts past. The young lion of Vongola, feared by all, blinks his clear, sky-blue eyes. His brown hair falls softly as he expertly tilts his head and presses his lips into a smile: OVO? ** As the title says, no CP. Tsunayoshi is in the chaotic evil alignment xd He’s probably still a good kid, though. [Cover image from a thread on the Bishui Forum, thread ID 1617054. Thanks from afar to artist Noraaa.] [I’ll revise the story from time to time. Aside from updates, any new chapters should be revisions. I’ll let you know about major revisions in the author’s notes.] [The original title was "A Record of Raising Varia’s Little One". I’m changing the title to match the outline.] ** A plug for my next upcoming novel: "The Last Dragon in the Entire Galaxy" Ming An is a little dragon whose horns are impossible to hide. Ever since he was born, he’s been bullied. Even after escaping into the mountains, a passing old Taoist subdued him, so he simply went to sleep. When he woke, the world had changed beyond recognition. His mountain was gone, as was the village at its foot. The entire world had become an abandoned planet. They say it’s called Death Star. They say more than ten thousand years have passed since he fell asleep. Ming An is dumbfounded. Facing a barren planet with no people and nothing at all, the little dragon gives a loud call, only to hear an even louder sound coming from his stomach. “Grrrr, ” In the interstellar era, the Mechanical Federation, which believes in mechanical ascension, is locked in conflict with the Empire, whose people are distinguished by their spiritual forms. The Mechanical Federation reveres Turing, the all-knowing and all-powerful Lord of Machines. From top to bottom, its people are either robots or crazies who have turned their bodies into machines. One day, a little one with horns and a trash bag appears on the outskirts of the Federation’s capital. A garbage-can robot on patrol rolls up to the little one, its wheels turning, and scans him with a green light. “Initial scan complete. Foreign objects detected on forehead. Suspected spiritual-form assimilation.” “Scan complete. Preliminary assessment: an Imperial child.” “Warning, warning, cunning Imperials... static... Imperial child invasion! Capture advised, capture advised!” The Federation citizens summoned by the intelligent recognition robot: ? At first, they think he’s just a little kid of unknown species. Leaving him on the street shouldn’t cause any problems. But later, the supposedly long-dormant King of Machines is seen wearing the latest model of mechanical shell and taking the dragon cub through the streets and alleys. It seems that the emotionless artificial intelligence, once unable to break through its mechanical core, has become a foolish artificial intelligence that can expertly nurse a child, change diapers, and toss him in the air, and can occasionally understand how hard it is to be a human office-worker parent. The Imperials, who have always declared that mechanical civilization will destroy humanity: “...” “Is this the evolution of artificial intelligence?” “Probably.” Theme: Achieve your goals through hard work
