Knowing It's a Flop, I Still Joined the Entertainment Industry

[Let's bet on which story will get a contract.]

[Rejected three times]

Jian Yu, from a tiny group so obscure it's beyond the horizon, × Bian Mian, a singer and top-tier star from a top group

Jian Yu lives by the belief that "one good deed a day" and has an inexplicable farmer's curse, based on the fable "The Farmer and the Snake": most people she helps turn around and bite her.

In the entertainment industry's cesspool, this trait is deadly.

The manager she looked after: "I'm going to work for our rival."

Jian Yu: "Huh?"

The junior trainee she helped: "I'm going to take your center position."

Jian Yu: "Huh??"

The little director she supported: "I'm giving your lead billing to someone with connections."

Jian Yu: "Huh???"

The top-tier star whose life she saved: "I'm going to steal your heart."

Jian Yu: "..."

Has it really gotten to the point where you want to take my life?

Female lead: Enterprise-level comprehension.

Male lead: Her reading comprehension has always been good.

A friendly warning (things to note):

1. The characters are not based on real people.

2. Most of the worldbuilding is based on personal settings.

3. This gets revised often, and sometimes extensively.

Theme: Know your place and strive to improve.
