Tone-Deaf Me Is Forced to Sing to Save the World

[I'll post this after the next or the one after that following the card story. It'll get a complete rewrite, so I've locked it for now~]

Tang Mu is a gaming streamer with no sense of pitch and a fiery temper, famous online for his incredible skills and dirty jokes.

One day, he transmigrates into the last mermaid on the Antis Continent.

The Antis Continent is a land abandoned by the gods.

Legend says only a mermaid's song can save the continent.

After years of searching, the high priest of the temple finally finds Tang Mu.

High Priest: Please use your heavenly voice to win the gods' favor!

Tang Mu: ???

After Tang Mu has sung at the temple for a month,

the god finally can't take it anymore and appears in the temple.

That day, the temple is flooded with light, and the whole continent trembles.

The high priest weeps with joy and drops to his knees, trembling.

Yet the handsome, cold god in the light says only four words: "Shut up. You sound awful!"

Tang Mu: You think you can tell me to shut up and I'll do it? What would that do to my reputation?

The shameless gaming streamer fears nothing.

Later, the continent returns to its former glory.

Every bard sings of how the mermaid saved the continent with his heavenly voice.

Tang Mu lounges in the god's arms and boasts, "They all say my voice has been kissed by an angel."

God, face darkening: "Which angel?"

#Author's Note#

1. A foul-mouthed mermaid bottom x a god who's gentle on the outside and dark within.

2. This is my first attempt at Western fantasy, and I'm not quite used to it yet. I may turn into a compulsive rewriter, so please bear with me.

Theme: Self-reliance and independence.
