Being a Fox Spirit Is Way Too Hard!

The shou is a young fox spirit who has just come down from the mountains. He's been ordered to seduce the gong.

The gong is a tyrant who has killed countless people and is surrounded by a murderous aura.

The shou keeps Lady Daji's cautionary tale in mind and is determined not to let his fox tail show.

Who would have thought that an accident would expose his true form, and the gong would catch him red-handed?

The shou changes back into human form and falls at the gong's feet, sobbing pitifully.

The gong's gaze is deep. He crouches in front of him and looks at him coldly. "Change back."

Shou: ???

Later, rumors spread through the palace that the gong has raised a little fox and dotes on him endlessly. He even carries the fox to court and lets him sleep in his own imperial bed.

The shou thinks this counts as completing his mission, so he lies flat without a care in the world.

But he never expected that one day he would be curled up at the foot of the bed,

while the gong strokes his tail and says in a husky voice, "Change back."

Shou: ???
