The Wind Stirs in Jinling

Court Deputy Shen Ya was ordered to Jinling to investigate an unsolved case. In Jinling's prison, he met Jiang Shu for the first time. In that filthy cell, he was like a bright moon, utterly out of place. Jiang Shu saw through a prisoner's lies from the other side of the wall and helped Shen Ya solve the case. Curious, Shen Ya wondered what crime Jiang Shu had committed. An old guard told him Jiang Shu was possessed by a ghost and would suddenly fly into a murderous rage. That night, the old guard died violently in his room. Shen Ya didn't believe in ghosts or gods. He cleared Jiang Shu's name and led him out of prison. Later, Shen Ya became caught up in a conspiracy and was hunted by assassins. He saw the ghost inside Jiang Shu with his own eyes. Defiant and unruly, surrounded by a deadly aura. He raised his blade and cut down the assassins. Their blood splashed across Shen Ya's face. #Reader's Guide# 1.
