I Counter You, You Spend on Me

[The two male leads are friends, not romantically involved]

A fortune-teller told me that I was born to be alone, and that anyone who came into contact with me would be cursed to death.

Just as the fortune-teller predicted, my parents, siblings, and closest friends all died unnatural deaths, one after another. In the end, to keep anyone else from dying because of me, I hid away in the depths of the mountains.

But my curse didn't just affect people. It affected plants and animals, too. Within a few years, the mountains where I lived had lost every trace of life.

At last, Ke Chengyang, cursed by Heaven and Earth, decided to stop hiding. He believed that in this vast world, there had to be someone who wouldn't be affected by his curse.

Using the inheritance his parents left him, Ke Chengyang decided to invest in his first business!

Though he was a jinx, Heaven had shut one door on him and opened a window in its place. No business he invested in ever lost money.

Before long, Ke Chengyang became the richest man in the world.

Unfortunately, he still couldn't let anyone get too close to him. Whenever he grew close to someone, his curse would kill them.

Ke Chengyang, the reincarnation of a walking jinx, searched for a long time before finally finding the one destined for him (crossed out), the one person immune to his curse.

The protagonist: A born loner x a lucky star sent from Heaven

~●Reading Guide●~

· This is a friendship, not a romance.

· One protagonist is a jinx, the other a lucky star. They help each other and benefit each other.

· Someone has a crush on a protagonist, but they won't end up together in this story.

· The writing is amateurish, the pacing is very drawn out, and the story moves a little slowly.

· I proofread once before posting, but there may still be typos. Feel free to point them out, and I'll fix them if I see them.
