Xu Tang is a little cat who has lived for hundreds of years without ever managing to take human form. When he met his benefactor to ask for his blessing, he accidentally summoned heavenly lightning. From then on, the only way he could survive was by becoming the golden finger of his benefactor, who transformed into the protagonists of different worlds.
As time went on, Xu Tang gradually realized that this benefactor was the root cause of his endless transmigration. But his master had taught him that one should repay life-saving kindness with one's own life. So how could he repay the kindness of being granted human form?
A certain dragon scooped the troubled little cat into his arms. "You don't have to repay me. There are still so many kinds of sea fish you haven't tried. Want to taste some?"
The poor, adorable little cat gladly accepted.
The creatures of the sea all fled at once. Big shot, you can't keep shearing the same sheep! River fish have plenty of flavor and variety. Why not let you and your little cat try those?
An orphan protagonist bullied by awful relatives and left with no one to rely on: I'm your long-lost uncle.
A little wolf raised by a pack and used by his sect leader when he grew up: I'm your master.
A supporting male character in the entertainment industry who's being suppressed: I'm your cousin, the one you've never met.
A scientist in the apocalypse: I'm your shiny golden thigh.
Still a satisfying, angst-free quick transmigration story. As for the romance, I'll do my best to make it sweet.
