The Playboys of Dream of the Red Chamber

Professor He Xichao, a scientist and engineer, dies while saving someone and is lucky enough to transmigrate through time to an alternate dynasty, where he becomes the youngest son of a duke's family. He is determined to live as a wealthy idler, but then, out of the blue, he discovers that he has landed in the world of Dream of the Red Chamber. What is he waiting for? Lin Meimei, here I come!

After traveling a thousand miles to Yangzhou, Lin Hai holds his three-year-old daughter and says lovingly, "This is my daughter. Yuer, call him your elder brother."

Daiyu gives him a sweet smile. The goddess image is shattered, but she's so adorable his heart melts. Being an older brother isn't so bad, but why is his little sister so clever? He Xichao, feeling thoroughly outshone, rolls up his sleeves to reclaim his dignity. He demonstrates the camera obscura to Daiyu, earning a stunned, admiring look from her. From then on, she follows him around and never looks back from the road of experimentation.

When He Xichao finally comes to his senses, Lin Daiyu is still a gifted poet, but her writing seems a little off. Where are the flowers?

Daiyu calmly replies, "Senior Brother, are you planning to study the principles of flower grafting? I have some materials here for you."

He Xichao lowers his head in silence and takes a bite of the greenhouse fruit Daiyu developed. It's pretty tasty, actually. Maybe this isn't so bad.

Lin Daiyu focuses on scientific research, inventing and creating alongside He Xichao. Before they know it, they're richer than the state.

The brothers Xiao Mingxuan and Xiao Mingyu exchange glances and cough twice to remind them they're there. He Xichao glances up and curls his lip. "Freeloaders don't get to speak."
