[Pride and Prejudice] A Lady's Guide to Making Money

[Please add my new novel, Reborn the Day Before the Divorce, to your reading list.]

After waking up one morning, Manli inexplicably finds herself as the least noticed of the Bennet family's three younger daughters.

Dull, bookish, and unlikeable: those are the three labels attached to her.

With no money and no prospects of marriage, she seems destined to end her days alone.

Manli: Who says you have to get married to live well?

Having parents is good, but having your own money is better. As long as your pockets are full, nothing else is a problem!

Worried her eldest sister will be mistreated after marriage?

Give her another twenty thousand pounds as a dowry!

Worried her second sister's husband comes from such a prominent family that their family won't measure up?

Help their father buy a title, the kind that gets him a personal audience with Her Majesty the Queen.

Her youngest sister is short-sighted and falls for a scoundrel?

No! No! No!

How could a girl raised in comfort ever settle for that sort of man?

She wouldn't even marry an earl's son!

As for herself...

Enjoying a little breeze, a little food, and a little wine, taking life easy...

Isn't that a wonderful life?

What?

Mr. Jean wants to marry her?

This young lady isn't someone you can marry just because you want to. Time for him to go through the wringer winning her back!

In short, this is the story of Manli and her sisters happily making money, marrying handsome, rich men, and reaching the pinnacle of life.

Entirely fictional. Everything is designed to serve the story. Don't expect logic, just sweet, satisfying wish fulfillment.

Life is tiring enough already. Sometimes you just want to read a book and have a little fun!

About turning off the comments: there's no drama. I just wanted to try turning them off for one book.
