After Filming Wrapped, My On-Screen Partner Confessed to Me [Entertainment Industry]

An unknown, bottom-tier actor with barely any fans gets mocked for having no chemistry with his female co-star. In a fit of anger, his company throws him into a danmei drama.

A spoiled heir with a second-generation rich kid's life, who joined the entertainment industry on a whim and figured he could go home and inherit the family business if he failed, gets talked into making a danmei drama by his buddies.

And so the two meet.

Seme: Is this the person who's going to play my wife for the next three months?

Uke: Why does he keep staring at me? Is he trying to promote the show? Oh, right, I'm playing one of the two male leads. Maybe I should make a heart with my hands for him.

Seme: Damn, he's so cute!

The show is filmed and aired at the same time, and suddenly these two obscure actors become overnight sensations.

Uke: Why does my coworker keep kissing me, hugging me, and lifting me up? Is he really going all out to promote the show? Such dedication!

Seme: The production team gave me a wife. Hehe, I like him~

After filming wraps:

Seme: Let's celebrate our three-month anniversary.

Uke: ? Since when?

A straightforward wolfdog seme x a slow-to-realize-it uke

Their roles in the drama:

The uke brings water to his friend's crush but gives it to the wrong person, and the seme thinks the uke likes him. The uke can't clear up the misunderstanding, so he lies and says it's his younger sister who likes the seme. The seme deliberately asks for the sister's contact information, leaving the uke with no choice but to make a female account. To make the social media feed look like a girl's, he even has to buy women's clothes and take photos. One lie takes a thousand more to cover... Three months later, his friend has made zero progress with his crush, while the uke has almost gotten himself a boyfriend.
