I Have a Library (1970s)

Qin Yi was an orphan adopted by the old librarian, and she had lived in the library since she was little. After the old librarian died, her son went against her will and was determined to sell the library to pay off his gambling debts. Qin Yi was upset, but she had no grounds to object. While cleaning a window on the third floor, he accidentally shoved her, and she fell out. She thought she’d probably just break a leg or something. Who knew she’d be so unlucky as to land on the concrete, headfirst. When she opened her eyes again, she had become a young educated woman in the 1970s who was about to get married. Her future husband was a soldier she had never met. How could she marry someone she’d never even seen, let alone share a wedding night with him? The lack of food and clothing in the 1970s was more than Qin Yi, who had grown up enduring hardship, could stand. Yet the library where she had spent more than ten years had become an independent space and come with her to this other world. Qin Yi quietly tidied up the top-floor terrace, which was nearly eighty square meters, and moved various potted plants indoors so she could fill them with soil and grow grain. The sunny room on the second floor of the third-floor building was put to use raising chickens and ducks. The large fish tank on the first floor was home to the little fish she had painstakingly caught... Fortunately, the library had three floors, as well as a basement level used as a small entertainment area, with a little supermarket, a small drink bar, a dessert shop, a barbecue shop, and a combined oden and spicy hot-pot shop! The staff cafeteria on the third floor had also just stocked up on grain and vegetables...
