A Little Fairy in the Sixties

Ling Chang was abandoned by her birth parents at birth. Bai Yu, an immortal lord who had been out catching demons, returned to the mountain gate carrying a soft, fragrant little girl.

Everyone thought their distinguished and noble lord had descended into the mortal world and brought back an illegitimate daughter. No one expected the "little girl" to grow up to become his wife.

When Ling Chang was six or seven, she saw her master as a father.

When she was twelve or thirteen, she saw him as an older brother.

When she was a hundred and forty, she saw him as a gentle, devoted husband who kept luring her to bed to cultivate together.

When she was three hundred and fifty, a lightning tribulation nearly scattered her soul. Her master gave up all his cultivation to get her through it safely, but died in the process.

Ling Chang spent a hundred years following her master's soul in search of him, but to no avail. After sleeping for nearly a thousand years, she awoke in the hardest, most impoverished years after the founding of the country.

In this age of declining magic, spiritual energy was scarce. After years of slumber, Ling Chang opened her eyes to find herself at what people called a public struggle session.

In a daze, she was dragged along to watch the spectacle. At a glance, she saw a young man being humiliated.

Th-that was clearly her master in his youth.

From then on, Bai Yu, the landlord's little runt, seemed to have a guardian angel. When he was hungry, someone would secretly bring him food. When he was sick, someone would give him medicine. Even the people who kept trying to bully him would mysteriously suffer bad luck.
