If you're interested in my new novel, I Have a Husky Sled Team, feel free to check it out. Daily updates start on December 14.
After getting her first husky, Chu Qiao secretly swore to herself that she'd never get a second one for as long as she lived.
But before she could take the dog to be neutered, the rascal found himself a wife who came to live with him without a dowry. The two dogs were so lovey-dovey they couldn't bear to be apart for even a second.
What Chu Qiao expected even less was that, after taking in a dog couple who kept putting on displays of affection for her, she ended up with a whole litter of puppies.
One person, nine dogs...
One person, nine huskies!
How was she supposed to go on living like this? Let the world end!
Chu Qiao took her nine dogs back to her old family home in the countryside and helped her mother run a small shop.
A supervolcano erupted, filling the sky with haze. From then on, the world was plunged into darkness, with no sunlight.
After the natural disaster strikes, how will Chu Qiao, an ordinary person, survive? And how will the country respond?
Warnings: 1. This story is set in a fictional world. It's meant to bring readers some joy and help them pass the time, so please don't overanalyze it. If you do, read at your own risk.
2. The male lead is just a background character, and there isn't much romance.
Orphan Su Yu has always loved small animals. Even when she was short on living expenses, she still chose to study veterinary medicine, a five-year program.
After five years of hard work, saving money from the age of eighteen until she graduated from university at twenty-three, she finally managed to buy a small pet shop less than a hundred square meters in size. It had a few cats, a few dogs, three or four hamsters, one or two turtles, and one or two birds.
But just two months after opening, when she was finally ready to make a big success of it, the apocalypse arrived.
The apocalypse was cruel, and she had no special abilities, just a pet app as her golden finger. But! Staying alive really wasn't hard at all.
Cats: Claws like knives, swift as lightning. Zapping people is easy, fighting is easy, but taking care of humans is so hard.
Rabbits: Fluffy fur, pearly white teeth. Digging burrows is easy, growing vegetables is easy, but taking care of humans is so hard.
Dogs: Three meters long, incredibly strong. Pulling sleds is easy, hunting is easy, but taking care of humans is so hard.
Hamsters: Chubby cheeks, plenty of food. Cracking seeds is easy, hiding things is easy, but taking care of humans is so hard.
Turtles: Hard shells, sharp teeth. Catching fish is easy, diving is easy, but taking care of humans is so hard.
Birds: Wings like the wind, claws like blades. Flying into the sky is easy, riding the wind is easy, but taking care of humans is so hard.
Su Yu: Land, sea, and sky, that's everything! Staying alive really isn't hard after all.
Warnings: 1. This story is set in a fictional world. Don't conflate it with the modern world.
2. The point of reading is to have fun, so please don't overanalyze it.
My other ongoing novel, The Goal Is to Become Empress Dowager, is looking for readers.
Qinglian is a thousand-year-old lotus spirit, just one step away from ascending to immortality. But during her tribulation, she nearly got blasted to pieces by heavenly lightning.
A woman sacrificed herself, turning her flesh, blood, and soul into nourishment to awaken the sleeping lotus.
The woman who sacrificed herself was named Ye Qingyin, the youngest daughter of the dynasty's great general who guarded the nation. The entire Ye family was loyal and noble, and had never taken part in the succession struggle. That is, until Ye Qingyin fell hopelessly in love with the current emperor's sixth son, Lin Nuocheng.
The sixth prince, Lin Nuocheng, was born after the emperor, drunk, slept with a low-ranking palace maid. With his lowly origins, he had never stood a chance of ascending the throne. But through his schemes, he made the Ye family's legitimate daughter, Ye Qingyin, fall deeply in love with him. She refused to listen to her parents and brothers, insisting on marrying him.
The Ye family spared no effort in building up the sixth prince, painstakingly clearing a path for him through the bloody struggle for the throne.
But once Lin Nuocheng had secured the throne, he turned on them without mercy. First he grew deeply resentful of his wife, Empress Ye Qingyin, while secretly suppressing the Ye family. Later, egged on by his beloved white moonlight and his cinnabar mole, he tortured Ye Qingyin to death, heaping every slander upon her as she endured betrayal while six months pregnant and ultimately died with her child. The Ye family was finally drained of every last bit of value, then falsely accused of treason and wiped out across three generations, leaving behind a disgraceful legacy.
Ye Qingyin was reborn and had already married Lin Nuocheng and become empress. Knowing she had no power to take revenge, she offered everything she had to the lotus spirit, asking her to protect the Ye family and help her get revenge.
The lotus spirit, who had never given up on becoming immortal, also realized the imperial palace was a place of great spiritual fortune. So she gave up on killing the dog emperor outright and fed him a pill that would ensure the birth of daughters for more than twenty years.
The lotus spirit considered the dog emperor a filthy thing, tainted by humans. Whenever she had no choice but to see him, on the first and fifteenth of the month, she used an illusion to make him kneel by her bed all night.
Humans need both a male and a female to have children. She was different. She could give birth to six all by herself.
Main characters:
1. The dog emperor kneeling by the bed
2. The white moonlight Consort Shu who transmigrated into a book
3. The reborn cinnabar mole, Noble Consort Yan
4. Consort Rong, who transmigrated
5. The other consorts
This is probably a story about everyone in the palace wanting to kill her, but being unable to.
Theme: Don't give up in times of trouble, and the road ahead will reveal itself.
I thought it was a tiger but...
I even watched The Wedding of Two Birds, but I couldn't see the wedding of the hero and heroine.
I guessed right and I didn't guess right either. Speaking of yellow with stripes, the first thing I thought of was tiger, but I didn't expect that he was Qiqiong.
The ending was sloppy, was it balancing? I found a boyfriend and girlfriend for all the animals... I thought it was a post about animals at the beginning.
I once had a wisdom tooth, but it didn't grow horizontally. It was just like changing teeth. Except that it hurt when it grew in, it didn't hurt at all other times.
Sprinkle flowers, sprinkle flowers???
I want to see the hero and heroine's wedding woo woo woo
It feels like the future will become the interstellar era
Ah, it's over. I feel like I can write a little more.
It feels weird, like something hasn't been explained clearly
