Though you are ice, fallen into eternal night,
I hope to spend my life as an axe,
carving through this abyss,
to find a ray of light for you.

Fang Yannan thinks she's unnecessary.
She's just an anonymous passerby in this world. Every tale of light and happiness belongs to someone else.
When her family suffers a sudden calamity during her childhood, she grows up small and insignificant as a wildflower, fit only to hide in a pitch-black abyss and grieve alone.
And yet...
Someone who never buys lottery tickets can still pick up a ticket and win the jackpot.
The famous and talented Young Master Zheng, renowned throughout the provincial capital, loves no one, yet falls for her at first sight.
He is willing to give her everything and become a bridge for her to cross.
He is obsessed with her alone!
He becomes a ray of light in her life.
But she chooses to walk away from the light, sinking herself into darkness.
With her wedding day approaching, she sees a scene in her new home that overlaps with a memory from her childhood...
The person who brought her out of the abyss with his own hands is going to push her off a cliff from behind?
She walks through the fog as a bystander,
not knowing whether a bottomless cliff or brilliant light awaits her ahead.
