The One Who Walks Against the Light

Fang Yannan had always felt that she was surplus to requirements.

She was merely an extra in this world. Light and happiness were always someone else’s story.

Like a tiny, humble wildflower, she grew in obscurity, fit only to hide in the pitch-black abyss and grieve alone.

And yet...

Someone who never bought lottery tickets could casually pick one up and win the grand prize.

Zheng, the brilliant and famous young master from the provincial capital, loved no one, yet fell for her at first sight.

He was willing to give her everything, even to bend down and become a bridge for her.

He would live for her and die for her.

He became a ray of light shining into her life.

With their wedding approaching, a scene in their new home overlapped with a memory from her childhood...

Would the person who had personally pulled her out of the abyss now push her off the clouds from behind?

She walked against the light, letting herself disappear into the darkness.

She did not know whether a sheer cliff or a dazzling radiance awaited her up ahead.

Every person with depression is walking against the light.

May they all be able to see the beauty in this world.

May life treat every soul with tenderness.
