The first time they met, Xie Zhe was leaning against the rooftop railing, a lit cigarette between his long fingers. A breeze lifted the hem of his school uniform, and the hair over his forehead was slightly tousled.

His eyes narrowed as he took a drag. Through the drifting smoke, his cool, handsome features looked especially seductive...

Gu Yi sneered impassively. "The student council president smokes?"

Xie Zhe chuckled, one brow arching. His usually gentle voice carried a touch of arrogance.

"Go ahead and tell someone. See what happens."

.

Later, Xie Zhe dropped his act completely in front of Gu Yi, making him his one and only "hostage."

Gu Yi: "You really think I don't dare tell anyone?"

As soon as the words left his mouth, Gu Yi was pinned against the wall. Xie Zhe covered his lips with his own and passed the smoke into his mouth, leaving his eyes bloodshot and stinging.

A hoarse voice whispered in his ear, captivating him in the darkness:

"Now we're accomplices."

.

Long, long afterward, Gu Yi still couldn't forget the taste of tobacco Xie Zhe had left between his lips.

Just like Xie Zhe himself, it was addictive.

Some things are futile to resist, no matter how hard you struggle.

From beginning to end, he was Xie Zhe's "hostage," willingly so.

Reading Guide:

1. Xie Zhe is not what he seems.

2. Scum top (?). Don't read if you dislike it. If you flame me, I'll flame you back.

3. There may be some angst.

4. I'll start once it gets enough bookmarks.
