[Crossover] Kaneki Is Human, Not a Ghoul

The author writes at an incredibly slow pace and needs a long time to get anything down. Because of time and other factors, each writing session produces only a few dozen words. It's best to follow this story with a relaxed, Buddha-like attitude. Why? Because the author has reached enlightenment.

The real synopsis: Kaneki Ken finally gets the life he wants in another world. (I originally wanted to write about a Kaneki who is no longer bound by his identity as a ghoul, and who grows alongside his companions as he goes through everything, reclaiming a life as a "human." After looking up the ending, I felt that Kaneki still hadn't escaped his self-loathing, which made for a tragic story.)

The silly version: Kaneki Ken is forced to another world. Looking at the things before him, he smiles: "I hear you have 'improper designs' on me."

Kibutsuji Muzan takes a step back, horrified: "I wouldn't dare! Who wrote that? I'll kill them! Aaaah!"

Kaneki looks behind Muzan.

The Upper Ranks, gone mad: "Aaaaaah! Don't look at me!"

After unexpectedly arriving somewhere unfamiliar, Kaneki Ken plans to just take things as they come. But then he meets a very strange person beside a little path.

Fukuzawa Yukichi looks at the cat by Kaneki's feet, then at the dried fish in his hand. "...I'm a little jealous."

And so, after being forced to join the Armed Detective Agency, Kaneki's daily routine consists of expressionlessly grabbing a certain someone who's about to leap straight into the sky: "Go on, try jumping off while I'm watching!"

That someone: "Oh ho ho~ Ah~"

In Yokohama, seeing all kinds of bizarre abilities is nothing unusual. Kaneki takes it all in stride.

What? You say there's a pervert?

It's fine. I used to be a pervert too.

Note: The main story is purely plot-focused, with no romantic pairing. There is one in the extras.

Reader's note: The plot develops slowly, so it's best to wait until there's a good amount to read.

The general story progression is Demon Slayer → Bungo Stray Dogs → Demon Slayer.

Demon Slayer is the main focus.

(Kaneki has a lot of headcanon details. I've only watched the first two anime seasons and don't want to watch the later ones, so I can't keep track of the original plot. Some details of the original Demon Slayer setting will be changed, but it follows the manga plot. I've finished the Bungo Stray Dogs anime and am catching up on the manga.)
