Her fate was unbearably tragic. Qi Muzheng was Qi Can's older brother. Gloomy, obsessive, cold, and taciturn, he lost both legs saving Qi Xi. After she died, he kept her body in a thousand-year-old ice tomb, his eyes bloodshot as he spent every night sleeping beside her. When he was finally found, Qi Muzheng had frozen to death in a mountain cave, still clutching the dead Qi Xi's hand. One One night, Qi Xi woke to discover she had returned to the age of sixteen! She was alive, the Qi family hadn't gone bankrupt, and she was still a young heiress in Beijing's elite circles. In this life, Qi Xi would never offer her vibrant, loving heart to Qi Can again. She still remembered the moment the car hit her: how Qi Muzheng had held her tightly in his arms, how he kissed her lips with a love so deep it seemed he wanted to die with her. Qi Xi decided to repay his kindness. From then on... Qi Xi would bring Qi Muzheng the breakfast made at home, watching with bright eyes as he ate every last bite. To help Qi Muzheng feel the warmth of the world, she would wish him good morning, good afternoon, and good night every day. At last, Qi Muzheng could no longer hold back. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms, his brows tense with repressed, roiling emotions, his eyes red as he stared at her. "I don't want you to repay me..."
