[Muzan X Naraku] Dog Training

Injured Naraku x young Master Muzan in the Taisho era On the first day of summer, a frail beauty arrived at the estate. With glossy black curls like seaweed and skin as flawless as jade, he was so beautiful he looked like an exquisite doll without a trace of life. The servants said he was to be Father's future bride. His name was Naraku. Later, the frail beauty woke up. His eyes were like blood-red jewels, and he seemed so fragile he could drop dead at any moment. Muzan went over to warn him, only to receive a faintly amused look. Muzan was displeased. He kept hanging around him and making sarcastic remarks, but never managed to see him looking upset. He always looked at Muzan with that faintly amused gaze, as if he were a child who didn't know any better. Later, he left. On the last day of summer, he withered away like a flower that could only bloom in summer. "The first time you saw me, you didn't chase me away." "The second time you saw me, you pretended to be displeased and went out of your way to pick a fight. When I answered you, the corners of your mouth lifted." "You thought I was going to marry your father, so you flew into a rage and picked a fight, using my unworthiness to enter the Kibutsuji household as an excuse..." Naraku's bloodless fingers passed over his eyes, cool and empty. "But your eyes were full of resentment and possessiveness. You like me, but you deny it with all your might, even resorting to mockery and picking on me... It's like looking in a mirror." "But even if I die, I can't be in the same world as her." That day, Muzan understood his own feelings, and lost the person he loved forever. If no one had ever made him see the truth, he wouldn't have spent a lifetime longing for someone he'd met only once.
