The Scumbag Actor

Who is Qiao Yanze?

Handsome, rich, and powerful. A gentleman through and through, with just enough mischief to keep him from being boring. He knows how to bring every joke to a graceful close, and treats every tear with care. He's the very dream of countless young women.

If a woman dislikes him, it can only be because she resents the fact that a dream can't belong to her alone.

"I couldn't stand seeing him with another woman." That's what his ex-girlfriend, Zhou Lu, said after killing Qiao Yanze with her own hands.

As he lay dying, Qiao Yanze was put to "wasteful use" by a mysterious System in the form of a young girl. It promised that if he passed five "Trials of Sincerity," he could come back to life. And so began his career playing a scumbag.

Qiao Yanze: "To be honest, I don't want to come back to life that badly. But... I can't let Xiao Lu ruin her whole life because she killed me, so I'll do my best."

Note: The trial worlds aren't real. The original world has a true female lead, and the ending is HE.

Qiao Yanze, casting a spell to get them out of their predicament: "...Darling, if I cast this spell, things might get awkward for you."
