The Last Dragon

[Passionate Version]

This is a world of spirit masters and battle pets, an age where the strong rule!

Fu Ling was created by the man known as the Venerable, only to be cruelly cast aside because of his frail body. Little did anyone know how much power lay hidden beneath his skinny frame.

Never look down on a poor young man, even if you would never dare slight an old man with a white beard. Though his fate has been full of hardship, a dragon will always be a dragon!

[The Real Version]

The dragon race is the greediest and most domineering in the world. Powerful, proud, and selfish, they believe in enjoying life while they can, and they always snatch whatever they want.

Their hunger for gold coins and victory seems etched into their genes.

As the last dragon in the world, Fu Ling is determined to uphold the dragon race's beliefs to the very end!

But...

Fu Ling glanced at the golden slit pupil in his left eye, then at the innocent, jet-black pupil in his right. Finally, he looked down at his slender figure. After a long silence, he took out a bandage and wrapped it around his unusual dragon eye.

The revolution hasn't succeeded yet, so it's best to keep a low profile for now.

Gu Xingyun: "Fu Ling, I heard a phantom-type spirit pet appeared in the Second Heaven. It's been affecting the city's days and nights. Everyone the Gu family sent to subdue it was dragged into a nightmare and fell into an eternal sleep. Venerable Gu is now joining forces with all the major factions to send their elites and hunt it down."

Fu Ling, looking innocent: "Nightmares naturally affect reality. It didn't do it on purpose. These so-called righteous sects are shameless, attacking a spirit pet at the slightest provocation. Why don't we go help it?"

Gu Xingyun: "You're right. Let's set out tonight. Maybe we can persuade it to leave the human city before they start fighting."

Before they left, Fu Ling filled every finger with spirit-pet rings, then curled his lips into a wicked smile. "Day and night reversed, an eternal nightmare? I like it. It's mine!"

[Reading Guide]

Top, Fu Huo x Gu Xingyun: a (fake) poor little thing, (real) great demon king, a beautiful, strong, tragic dragon top x a spirit master bottom with a thousand layers of fan-filter bias who fiercely protects his own.

Spirit masters can contract one spirit pet of the corresponding rank each time they level up, so there'll be all kinds of little pets! Spirit pets have minds of their own, and the higher their rank, the closer their intelligence is to that of humans.

Theme: Never look down on a poor young man.
