One day, during a parent-teacher meeting, unable to endure the homeroom teacher's lecture any longer, Huo wanders into a grove on campus and sees his son angrily grabbing someone by the collar. "What the hell do you want?"

Xu Mishi's eyes twinkle with amusement. His perfect jaw tilts up slightly as he struggles to breathe. "I want to be your stepmom, sweet-son."

Huo Xun realizes with a start: the well-behaved kid he imagined may need a little discipline.

Huo Jiawen sees his dad bring home a beautiful boy who is prickly all over, pretends to be sweet, twists the truth, and acts like an expert schemer. He suspects the boy is Huo senior's illegitimate son.

He thinks the other guy is here to break up their family.

But one silent night, peering through a crack in the study door, he catches the boy brazenly planting a kiss on the face of a man passed out drunk.
