True Alpha, Fake Beta

My new novel, My Especially Unpopular Wife, is now available. It's a modern supernatural romance!

Chapter One: Feng Yixun tries to win over Lu Ken, the new employee at his company, a Beta who looks exactly like his ideal type.

The Beta gazes at him with puppy-bright eyes. "C-can I really?"

Feng Yixun is instantly smitten. "Of course you can."

And so the Alpha is "taken" by the Beta, completely and utterly.

Chapter Two: After his disastrous defeat, Feng Yixun decides to stay away from Lu Ken and find someone new, hoping to reclaim his dignity as an Alpha.

But one date after another falls through. In a fit of frustration, he downloads a speed-dating app and searches for his next date nearby... only to match with Lu Ken again.

Feng Yixun: I'm a real A!

Lu Ken: I'm pretending to be a B.

Feng Yixun: ? Wait, with your gentle, patient, never-loses-his-temper personality, what do you know about acting tough? I'm the biggest poser in the whole company.

Lu Ken: ...

Lu Ken hesitates, as if he wants to say something.

A romance that begins with a spectacular crash. A silly, lighthearted sweet treat.

An easygoing alien "pretending to be a B" top x a real-A Earthling CEO bottom
