The Neighbors Covet My Body... and My Home

The wealthy Song family, as rich as Tao and Bai, had fallen on hard times. Even Song Ren, who had died in a fit of rage, was furious enough to come back to life. Before he could even figure out how he'd become Song Jing, his only son who'd studied himself stupid, he discovered that his covetous neighbors had stolen his land, his unscrupulous business partners had divided up his shops, his faithless steward had sold his farmland, and his treacherous servants had sold him for thirteen taels of silver.

Thirteen taels?!

Even the meat Song Ren fed his dog was worth more than that! Wait, even his dog had run off to call someone else Daddy?!

Hmph. You ungrateful bastards are just after my... family fortune, aren't you? Watch as Song Ren, in Song Jing's body, faces the prospect of losing his family and seeing his line die out, tramples the villains, punches the traitors, tears up his contract of servitude, wins back his family fortune, and builds a thriving life!

-- Mini-scene 1:

Song Jing lit a cigarette, picked up Su Xiong's favorite vodka, and slowly poured it over the gravestone. "Don't worry, Old Bear. We've been friends for so many years, haven't we? I'll draw up a deed for that plot of land up north and burn it for you tomorrow. As for your son, if he doesn't behave, I'll beat him for you."

Song Jing put a hamburger on Fei Wu's grave too. "Old Fei, you killed Old Bear, so I both want to thank you and kill you. At your age, you should stop going on about protecting world peace down there. That's so chuunibyou."
