I Woke Up and Found Myself in Love with Hibari

Qi Mu Kongyin woke up to discover that she had been dropped into a parallel world.

In this topsy-turvy parallel world, she was the one with all-purpose psychic powers, while her second older brother, the original owner of those powers, had become an ordinary person.

Kongyin: “...Wait, how does that make sense?”

The good news: ordinary little her had become the psychic everyone dreamed of being. Yay.jpg

The bad news: her powers were weird and came with a lot of deadly flaws. Not yay.jpg

She had originally possessed only [Telepathy], which let her passively read other people's thoughts. But after gaining her second older brother's all-purpose psychic powers...

With [X-Ray Vision], anyone she looked at for more than two seconds would be instantly stripped of their clothes, no matter who they were.

She tried using [Telekinesis], but because she couldn't control it precisely, she got the wrong result. The good girl she'd been for years instantly turned into a thief, stealing some kind of metal club weapon from who knows where.

On top of that, her powers would inexplicably go out of control at times... And that was where the problem began.

Whenever she used her powers or they went haywire, the disciplinary committee president, whom the students of Namimori Middle School considered a terrifying school menace, always happened to appear nearby :)

Like a field boss that spawned randomly in a game, he could detect her strange behavior with pinpoint accuracy.

At first, to avoid revealing that she was different from everyone else in this ordinary world, she decided she had to take out the disciplinary committee president, who knew far too many of her secrets.

Then... there was no then. His terrifying combat instincts let him beat her in a single move. Even when she managed a successful sneak attack and used [Memory Erasure] to alter his memory of her having psychic powers, his bizarre thought process only made the altered memories even more horrifying...

She went from stealing his weapon to breaking into his home and snatching it from him.

Kongyin: “_(:з"∠)_ Maybe I'll just give up and do nothing...”

Her psychic powers still went haywire from time to time, and the disciplinary committee president was always there as a witness. Her only person to rely on, her second older brother, was just an ordinary person in this world...

Later, as she gradually got used to it, she saw her sociable classmate run around naked whenever his head caught fire, the little kid next door who loved dancing naked turn into a five-year-old salaryman, and the neighbor's daughter become a magical girl who could use magic...

By comparison, the disciplinary committee president who always seemed to pass through her world, had abnormal combat instincts, and had only one concise thought, “Bite to death,” didn't seem so strange after all.

Then, later still.

He seemed to be a good person. He even had an unexpected soft spot for small animals.

And then, later still.

He kissed her.

They seemed to be dating.

Kongyin: “...Huh?”

He lifted her chin and asked, “Want to do that again?”

When she finally met her original world's eldest and second older brothers, she expected them to be angry that she had somehow acquired a brother-in-law. They only gave an annoyed snort.

Second brother: [I'm not happy about it, but it's fate. I can't interfere.]

Eldest brother: “As much as I hate to admit it, Kusuo is right. Otherwise, I'd have packed him up and sent him to outer space long ago.”

Reader's guide:

1. The couple is 18+, and the story is one-on-one throughout.

2. The focus is on everyday life and romance. I can't guarantee a perfect portrayal of the characters, so they may be out of character.

Theme: Live positively and dare to try new things
