It was the best of times, and it was the worst of times.

Romance briefly bubbled up in the Taisho era, half dazzling splendor and half faded old world.

In high society, a woman of noble birth despairingly agreed to be transformed into a demon by the Demon King. Only afterward did she discover that she was pregnant. This led the demon to regain her humanity and seek out the god of calamity, severing her bond with her child. Thus, the child became an extraordinary being, caught between human and demon.

Later, the girl, left an orphan in the wilderness, grew as tenaciously as a weed...

The Demon Slayer Corps' Nine Hashira on Higashikazehira Tsubasa:

Stone Hashira: A maturity beyond her years. Strong-minded, she knows how she wants to live and has the resilience to take responsibility for her choices. She seems to like Shinazugawa a lot.

Sound Hashira: A girl as cool and clear as the moon. Not glamorous in the conventional sense, yet exceptionally glamorous! But she doesn't have childbearing hips.

Water Hashira: She always strikes up conversations so naturally. Even when Shinazugawa is in a bad mood, she sometimes comes to talk to me. It moves me.

Wind Hashira: Full of twisted logic, but actually very earnest and hardworking. What's rare is that she can truly settle down and focus. I trust her, but can't help worrying about her.

Serpent Hashira: I admire how she seems to have no shadows in her heart. She's more adaptable than Shinazugawa, and I'm glad she can be there for my friend Shinazugawa.

Flame Hashira: So fast! A decisive, efficient girl! Her inventive swordsmanship suits her perfectly. She's a very lovable junior!

Love Hashira: So adorable! It's so cute how she uses her own twisted logic to leave people speechless! I wish I had a little sister like her, though I feel like the old me might have been the one needing protection. This airy, mysterious girl of the wind is always suddenly appearing up high. She's so cool!

Insect Hashira: I enjoy spending time with this girl. She has her head in the clouds, yet keeps her feet on the ground, which is very comforting. She's cute in a different way from Mitsuri.

Mist Hashira: Like a skylark, light and lively. I always feel that she might really take off and fly freely at any moment. I'm a little envious.
