A Certain Scientific Reduction of All Things [A Certain Magical Index]

“Who says fate is fixed and the cosmos is lonely? Look, while this world stands still, the kaleidoscope turns because of her!” [For the remade sequel, visit my author page: A Certain Scientific Level of Erasure RE]

A girl with the power to erase any comprehensible “field” has always existed as an erasure device for the First's white monster, assigned the role of nothing more than a being who takes things away.

“It's all right. Let them make their plans.”

“The way of life only I can achieve must be something I can pursue through my own will.”

The girl declares this as she weeps and presses on!

“Because fantasies can be held on to. And this world alone has ever earned my approval, the conviction of Zhenyicheng!”

“On the strength of the name of All-Encompassing Erasure, I'll erase anything you throw at me!”

A special variable born from a single thought within some vast plan, I came to your side. But if misfortune was what brought us together, then so be it.

And so the story began of the boy called the white monster and the girl who served as an erasure device. Though every gift meant for them had already been assigned its price by fate in secret.

Faithful to the source, with no out-of-character behavior. A serious story with thoughtful revisions, a female protagonist, and a coming-of-age ensemble that blends naturally into the original world and explores the corners beyond the original's frame!
