Synopsis

After Gu Qi died in a car accident, System 001 pulled him into an escape game, where he became a player.

In the game, Gu Qi quickly stood out from the many rookie players thanks to his striking looks and mysterious skills.

What came next... was a powerful being setting its sights on him.

As Gu Qi searched for clues, strange things kept happening around him.

A clue-filled diary dropped behind him, a note listing a ghost's weaknesses, and a ring the size of a pigeon's egg.

Then, one morning, a face suddenly appeared in the mirror.

Along with the vivid red mark on his neck, and an unopened letter.

The letter read:

"Darling, you're so beautiful."

"I want to eat you up, bite by bite. Then we'll be together forever."

Signed: Your lover, hidden in the dark.

After Gu Qi finished reading, he looked up and met a pair of scarlet eyes. Their owner wore a mask and looked like an elegant nobleman from the Middle Ages. With the practiced ease of someone who had done it a thousand times, he offered Gu Qi a red rose with its thorns removed.

The God of Death whispered in Gu Qi's ear:

"Don't even think about getting away from me. You're mine."

In the escape game, players' first instinct upon encountering a monster was always to run. Gu Qi was different. He chose to face the monsters head-on and slaughter them to the last.

But even someone as formidable as Gu Qi was seen being pinned down and kissed in a secluded corner, his eyes red and looking utterly pitiful.

The players who had seen Gu Qi kill monsters, and those Gu Qi had taught a lesson: ??? What kind of nonsense are you talking about? That's Gu Qi...

Then they saw Gu Qi being held in someone's arms. The person holding him was the rumored Evil God boss, with the game's vicious little doll standing by his leg.
