/Becoming the Ghosts' Worst Nightmare in a Survival Game/

Gu Xu is a player in a survival game. On his very first day in the game, a powerful, unspeakable entity takes an interest in him.

That entity is fiercely possessive, always following close behind Gu Xu like a dragon guarding its treasure, unwilling to leave him for even a moment.

In the game.

Other players facing ghosts: Aaaaaah! Mom, help!

Gu Xu facing ghosts: This is hilarious. Not a single ghost dares come near me.

Gradually, the players who entered the same dungeon as Gu Xu notice this too. Suspecting he is a traitor, they band together, tie him up, and prepare to burn him alive.

Gu Xu has been drained of his strength by their items, and can only watch helplessly as the flames surround him. The System is so anxious it starts crying, shouting at Gu Xu to give in and save his own life first.

Gu Xu thinks that makes sense. His voice hoarse, he says, "Save me."

In the shadows, a figure says two words. Gu Xu gives a cold laugh and says again, "Hubby, save me QAQ."

The other players: "Have you lost your mind? If you'd said that earlier, we might have let you off. Now..."

A pillar of black energy snuffs out the flames. The shadow in the darkness walks toward the faint firelight, gently scoops Gu Xu into its arms, then casts a single glance at the players before vanishing. Its eyes are as cold as blades.

"I'm not even willing to speak harshly to him, and you actually had the nerve to try to burn him alive."

The other players: What the hell, is this the legendary thing where you beat up the little guy and the big one shows up?!

Mom! Why is the boss dating someone?!!!
