The Days I Was Favored by the Heavenly Dao

When Zhao Yuan was eighteen, a friend tricked him into going to a famous lightning-strike hotspot.

A thunderclap later, he was bedridden for three years.

When he opened his eyes again, everything before him had changed.

Everyone in Nancheng's geomancy circles knew the story.

The young master of the Zhao family, who had been bedridden for three years, had somehow come upon an incredible opportunity. He could observe dragon veins above and slay fallen immortals below. His profound mastery of the mystic arts left countless geomancy masters green with envy.

When they heard Zhao Yuan had awakened, the few friends who had set him up back then were terrified.

Half a month passed, and Zhao Yuan still hadn't come for them, so they finally breathed a sigh of relief.

A few days later, however, their companies suddenly went bankrupt. The God of Wealth enshrined in their homes vanished overnight, and even the fortune-changing artifacts they'd bought from geomancy masters shattered one after another...

A friend asked, "Who taught you these profound mystic arts?"

Zhao Yuan smiled faintly and pointed up at the sky.

His friend was puzzled. "Did the heavenly thunder teach you?"

Zhao Yuan replied, "I studied under the Heavenly Dao."

His friend burst out laughing. "I might as well say I studied under Yuan..."

Before he could finish, a bolt of lightning struck him.

His friend: "..."
