The Cat I Raised Took Me to Ascension

After losing her job and ending up penniless, Su Yang went back to her hometown with her cat, planning to open a little restaurant in town and keep working as a cook. She never expected that the day after she moved in, her cat would go missing.

She found her cat again on a stormy night, with thunder crashing and lightning flashing. Just before a colossal purple bolt, sharp enough to pierce the sky screen, came crashing down, Su Yang threw her arms around her cat.

“You helped me achieve immortality. Whatever you want, I’ll make it happen.”

Amidst radiant clouds, the snow-white cat transformed into a man dressed in white, and spoke to Su Yang.

“I just want my cat!”

“Ah, so you want me to repay you by marrying you...”

Su Yang: ...Is that what this means?
