Forced to Join a Dating Reality Show [Showbiz]

No one on the internet knows that rising teen idol Jiang Nuan is a jinx in the CP fandom. Every couple she ships is doomed to break up.

When Jiang Nuan tried her best to play up her pairing on a dating reality show, her mom-fans shed tears of joy, while the CP fans felt like it was Christmas every day.

After keeping up the act for a while, Jiang Nuan finally realized what was going on.

Why was she still being paired up with the other person after the show ended?

Help, why hasn't the CP I ship broken up yet?

1L: As the title says. I've been waiting for a whole year.

2L: What kind of monster is the OP?

3L: Same...

4L (OP): So, usually, the CPs I ship get broken up by the actual people involved within three months. I've had more than ten of them so far, but this one has been going for a whole year. I'm starting to panic.

5L: The OP's kind of a menace to the fandom, but congratulations this time.

6L (OP): ???

7L: OP, you're kind of slow. They're going for a happy ending!

8L (OP): You have to be joking!

999L (SJS): Thanks, everyone. The OP and I are together now.

Song Shijing: We broke up because there was nothing at stake for me. But I've been plotting to win you over for a long time.

Reader's Guide

1. No real-life inspirations. Please don't project real people onto the characters.

2. A straightforward romance about a dating show. I'll do my best to make it sweet. Even if it's not sweet, there are no refunds.

3. Idols can date in this setting. The worldbuilding is different; read the story for details. Don't ask. The answer is that it's for the sake of peace.
