I Became a Landlord in the Western Sea [Journey to the West]

Welcome to the Great Landlord System!

System: You start with a stretch of wasteland, where you can build houses and farm as you please...

Ao Si: Wait, what happened to the wasteland you promised me? Why did I spawn in the sea?

On the Journey to the West

Ao Si: Master, are you thirsty or hungry? Should we get down and take a break?

Tang Sanzang: We need to keep moving...

Ao Si: Master, it’s almost dark. Let’s rest for a while. The mountain roads are rough.

Tang Sanzang: It’s going to rain. We should keep going and find somewhere to shelter.

Ao Si: Master...

Sun Wukong: Who’s your master? Is your home by the sea or something? Why are you sticking your nose into everything?

Ao Si: Well, yeah. The whole West Sea is my territory.

Q: What’s it like to be the younger sister of the Jade Dragon Third Prince?

Ao Si: Thanks for asking.

Here’s what happened: My brother was forcibly turned into a white horse and made to carry a chubby monk on his pilgrimage.

To make sure the chubby monk treated him well, I provided food and lodging for them all along the way. I’m nearly going broke.

And that monkey still doesn’t appreciate it!

Reading Guide

1. The early chapters focus on construction and development, then the protagonist joins the main cast on their adventures.

2. This isn’t purely a romance novel. The plot comes first, with romance as a secondary focus.

3. I’ll add more when I think of it.

Content warning:

OOC alert. The characters are reimagined in appearance and personality according to the author’s ideas, while retaining the original as a starting point.
